Heat Transfer Fluids from Dow are fluids designed to help meet demanding system performance, protection, and safety requirements. They include technologies optimized for applications ranging from geothermal heat pumps and other water-based systems to food and beverage processing; and from pharmaceutical and polymer processing to Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) generation.
These specially formulated industrial inhibitor packages are designed to prevent corrosion and are widely used for closed-loop, water-based HVAC, process heating and cooling, and food industry applications. They are manufactured with DOW PuraGuard Propylene Glycol USP/EP, a pharmaceutical grade of monopropylene with specified purity greater than 99.8%. The inhibitors are easily maintained, long lasting and replenishable, which means intervals between fluid change-outs are extended and fluid expense is minimized. » Glycol
These thermal fluids are either organic synthetic or inhibited glycol-based. There are various grades available, each formulated from a different base chemistry to provide the right heat transfer properties for your applications. » Glycol
These low-viscosity silicone fluids offer excellent heat transfer performance and long service life. They are designed for high and low liquid phase heat transfer mediums and also offer low odor and toxicity. While the initial purchase cost of silicone fluids are typically more expensive than synthetic organic fluids, silicone fluids often have a lower long-term operating cost because they do not degrade like other fluids or require top-off fills. » Silicone
