AKPEROX® A30 is a high-performance methyl ethyl ketone peroxide catalyst recommended for curing unsaturated polyester resins. Suitable for use at room or elevated temperatures, AKPEROX® is typically used in spray-up applications for FRP.
AKPEROX® A30 is a colorless liquid methyl ethyl ketone peroxide in dimethyl phthalate diluent. Recommended for use at 1% to 2%, this methyl ethyl ketone peroxide is typically added to unsaturated polyester resins used in FRP spray-up and hand lay-up applications. It may also be used in gel coat resins, laminating resins, polymer concrete, filament winding, resin transfer molding, and more to facilitate curing at various temperatures.
