ADCOTE™ 37T77-X is a water-based heat seal coating that forms peelable bonds with good moisture resistance. It is typically used in lidding applications.
ADCOTE™ 37T77-X is a water-based dispersion used as a heat seal coating. It can be applied to paper, polyolefin films, primed aluminum foil, and primed polyester films to form a heat-sealable layer. Once heated to a minimum activation temperature of 82°C, it forms strong, peelable bonds to HIPS, aluminum foil, paper, treated polyester, polypropylene, and polyethylene. Seals formed with ADCOTE™ 37T77-X have a remarkable level of moisture resistance greater than typical water-based coatings and adhesives used in flexible packaging. ADCOTE™ 37T77-X is ideally suited as an adhesive to create paper-based packaging and flexible lidding of containers for meats, cheeses, and snack foods.
