Overview
Coreactant 88-141 is the polyol coreactant in the PACACEL™ L75-191/CR 88-141 system. This adhesive system is a 100% solids, polyurethane solventless laminating adhesive. The PACACEL™ L75-191/CR 88-141 laminating adhesive has excellent adhesion to plastic films, metallized films, and foils. It also enables extremely fast run speeds and cure time; laminates made using this adhesive are ready for slitting in 4 hours, pouching in 24 hours, and food contact in 2 days. PACACEL™ L75-191/CR 88-141 complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1395 conditions of use B–J and (EU) No 10/2011 regulatory approvals. This adhesive system is ideal for demanding food packaging applications, such as boil-in-bag, ovenable, and hot fill packaging, in addition to standard flexible packaging applications for meat and cheese, condiments, and frozen foods.
