Overview
ADCOTE™ 40-51NEF is a modified polyester heat seal coating that can be applied to untreated polyester. The coating can then be sealed to PVC or PVDC coated containers to form a peelable seal with excellent chemical resistance. ADCOTE™ 40-51NEF is often used for lidding of portion packs and condiment packaging where excellent product resistance is required. ADCOTE™ 40-51NEF is supplied at 30.5% solids in a blend of ethyl acetate and n-propyl acetate. It should be applied at a coating weight of 3.5-4.0 lbs per ream for optimized sealing performance.
