PARALOID™ KM-334 is an acrylic modifier that combines good impact performance and melt strength with high processing efficiency. It is ideal for exterior vinyl applications.
Dow PARALOID™ KM acrylic impact modifiers improve impact efficiency and are excellent as plastic additives for vinyl. PARALOID™ KM-334 acrylic polymer additives are impact modifiers for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in demanding and weatherable applications. PARALOID™ KM-334 acrylic impact modifier allows PVC to resist color change when exposed to the elements in building and construction applications. As an acrylic impact modifier, this PARALOID™ grade also aids in improving the appearance of building and home siding products by lowering gloss levels. When combined with PARALOID™ K-120ND and PARALOID™ K-175 processing aids, PARALOID™ KM-334 acrylic additive allows PVC extruders with superior processing behavior in fusion, melt homogeneity, metal release, and smooth extrusion surface properties.
Dow PARALOID™ KM-334 impact modifier is formulated to improve impact strength and meet demanding specifications for building and construction PVC products. More specifically, siding, profiles, sheets, small diameter conduits, foam core pipes, injection molded pipe fittings, and more. Furthermore, this general-purpose acrylic impact modifier offers PVC formulations with improved impact strength, gloss control, and weatherability.
