VERSALOID™ 21308-XP is a 100% acrylic thermoplastic resin that offers excellent flexibility and UV resistance for use in crystal-clear weatherable applications.
Dow's flexible acrylic resin, VERSALOID™ 21308-XP, is suitable for various plastic processes, including extrusion, calendering, and injection molding. VERSALOID™ 21308-XP provides excellent durability and adhesion when used in crystal-clear, transparent, and flexible plastic applications, especially when UV resistance is required. As a flexible acrylic resin, VERSALOID™ 21308-XP has the potential to be converted into pellets through an extrusion process.
As a powder or pellet, VERSALOID™ 21308-XP can be converted into flexible films, sheets, tubings, and pipe products using conventional melt processes, such as extrusion, injection molding, and thermoforming. This Dow acrylic resin also exhibits excellent miscibility in typical rigid or flexible PVC compounds at a broad range of mixing ratios.
