Overview
VERSENE™ CA calcium disodium EDTA & VERSENE™ NA disodium EDTA is a food-grade chelating agent that chemically binds and renders inactive trace metal ions such as iron, copper, and zinc to improve color, flavor, clarity, shelf life, and vitamin content of foods and beverages and personal care applications. VERSENE™ NA meets the requirements of the Food Chemicals Codex and United States Pharmacopeia.
