DOWTHERM™ MX is a high-performance thermal fluid based on a mixture of alkylated aromatics for high-temperature, nonpressurized systems up to 620°F (327°C). DOWTHERM™ MX is designed as an alternative for hot oils in liquid-phase systems. DOWTHERM™ MX exhibits a high flash point and superior thermal stability compared to traditional hot oils.
