Overview
MOLYKOTE® D-7409-NEP EC Anti-Friction Coating is an organic-solvent-based, heat-cured dry film lubricant that provides exceptional lubrication and corrosion protection. MOLYKOTE® D-7409-NEP EC exhibits high load-carrying capability and incredible high-temperature stability due in part to its solid lubricant additives molybdenum (MoS2) and graphite.
MOLYKOTE® D-7409-NEP EC imparts excellent wear protection and provides resistance to oil, grease, and solvents. It is applied to surfaces with a recommended thickness of 5 µm and then heat cured at 220°C to solidify the anti-friction dry-lube coating for long-term protection and operation.
