MOLYKOTE^® 1000 Paste

MOLYKOTE^® 1000 Paste is a high-performance solid lubricant paste that provides good corrosion protection for metal joints across a range of environmental conditions. It is formulated as a high-temperature anti-seize paste that is both lead and nickel free, while also working well on bolted joints that must endure harsh environments, including high temperatures, corrosiveness, and heavy loads. Its mineral oil base is reinforced with copper, graphite, and white solid lubricants, which together help maintain a stable coefficient of friction during assembly and removal. Consequently, maintenance teams can achieve more consistent bolt loading, whereas future disassembly is often less damaging to threads and mating surfaces.

MOLYKOTE^® 1000 Paste is commonly selected for metal-to-metal connections that face thermal cycling, moisture exposure, and prolonged service intervals. Moreover, its operating range of -30°C to 650°C makes it suitable for equipment that must start cold and continue running at elevated temperatures.
