Overview
MOLYKOTE® P-40 metal-free adhesive lubricating paste is a high-performance solution to protect metal surfaces and threaded connections from corrosion and fretting at high temperatures. MOLYKOTE® P-40 Paste is formulated with high-quality mineral oil with solid lubricants to improve surface adhesion, fretting prevention, and resistance to water washout.
MOLYKOTE® P-40 Paste is used on threaded connections where frequent assembly and disassembly processes are required in harsh environments with high temperatures and splash-water exposure. MOLYKOTE® P-40 is yellowish brown for easy confirmation of application and identification of surface gaps.
