RESOMER® RG 503 is a biodegradable and bioresorbable lactide copolymer powder with an inherent viscosity viscosity of 0.32-0.44 dL/g. It is composed of 50 mol % D,L-lactide and 50 mol % glycolide and is recommeded for parenteral controlled release of pharmaceutical substances.
RESOMER® RG 503 is a medium-viscosity, alkyl ester terminated RESOMER® polymer granular powder from Evonik formulated with an inherent viscosity range of 0.32-0.44 dL/g and a degradation time of 3 months. This lactide polymer provides speciaty delayed release capabilities ensuring the controlled release of microparticles, small molecules, peptides, proteins, and more in long-acting medication delivery systems, in-situ depot formlations, and drug-loaded implants. RESOMER® RG 503 contains a solvent-purified combination of 50 mol % D,L-lactide and 50 mol % glycolide to achieve a low residual monomer content.
RESOMER® RG 503 complies with FDA, GMP, EHS, DIN ISO 9001, MAF, and DMF regulations.
RESOMER® polymers have been purified for a reduced residual monomer content and are available in a variety of molecular weights and viscosity ranges to meet application needs. All polymer properties can also be adjusted to match formulation requirements.
