RESOMER® RG 504
RESOMER® RG 504 is an innovative pharmaceutical controlled-release agent containing a medium-viscosity blend of 50 mol % D,L-Lactide and 50 mol % Glycolide with a degradation period of 3 months maximum.
RESOMER® RG 504 is a lactide-based copolymer containing a purified poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) (CAS no. 26780-50-7) for a minimal residual monomer content and advanced performance. RESOMER® RG 504 is specially recommended for pharmaceutical applications where controlled drug release is essential, including long-acting medication delivery systems, in-situ depot formulations, drug-loaded implants, and more, offering compatibility with a range of pharmaceutical substances, small molecules, proteins, and peptides. RESOMER® RG 504 is recommended for processing by injection molding and provides a degradation period of 3 months max.
RESOMER® RG 504 complies with FDA, GMP, EHS, DIN ISO 9001, MAF, and DMF regulations.
RESOMER® polymers have been purified for a reduced residual monomer content and are available in a variety of molecular weights and viscosity ranges to meet application needs. All polymer properties can also be adjusted to match formulation requirements.
