RESOMER® RG 755 S is an alkyl-terminated lactide-based polymer that can be completely metabolized by the body in controlled drug release formulation for the pharmaceutical industry. It is composed of a 75:25 mol ratio of D,L-Lactide, and Glycolide with an inherent viscosity of 0.50─0.70 dL/g and a degradation period of 6 months.
RESOMER® RG 755 S poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) copolymer excipient is an advanced biopolymer powder recommended for use in the production of drug-loaded implants, in-situ depot formulations, and long-acting medication delivery systems. It has a polymer composition of 75 mol % D,L-Lactide and 25 mol % Glycolide with an alkyl ester end group for a 100% bioabsorbable and biodegradable formulation. Properties such as the inherent viscosity of 0.50─0.70 dL/g and degradation rate of 6 months have been optimized to fit the need of a specific release system with optimal metabolization in the body.
