RESOMER® RG 858 S is a high-quality pharmaceutical polymer specially formulated by Evonik with an 85:15 mol ratio of D,L-Lactide and Glycolide with an inherent viscosity of 1.3─1.7 dL/g and a degradation period of 9 months.
RESOMER® RG 858 S is an acid-terminated poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) co-polymer designed for use with drug-loaded implants, complex parenteral drug products, microparticles, in-situ depot formulations, and long-acting medication systems, providing delayed drug release and easy metabolization in the body. Formulated by Evonik with a blend of 85% D,L-lactide and 15% Glycolide, it is a bioabsorbable and biodegradable polymer with excellent substance compatibility and performance.
RESOMER® polymers have been purified for a reduced residual monomer content and are available in various molecular weights and viscosity ranges to meet application needs. All polymer properties can also be adjusted to match formulation requirements.
