Galaster Industrial EL 98 is an industrial-grade ethyl lactate with a minimum purity of 98%, produced by Galactic through the esterification of natural lactic acid. Ethyl lactate is a bio-based, 100% biodegradable solvent derived entirely from renewable raw materials, making it one of the most environmentally responsible solvent options available today.
This product offers excellent solvency power for a wide range of resins, polymers, and organic compounds while maintaining a favorable toxicity and environmental profile. It is fully miscible with water and most organic solvents, providing formulators with a versatile tool for replacing traditional petroleum-based solvents in coatings, cleaning products, adhesives, and other industrial formulations.
