Bonderite® S-AD 55 (previously known as RODINE 55) is an powdered inhibitor for traditional sulfuric acid pickling operations for metal manufacturing & surface preparation. Bonderite® S-AD 55 contains an extremely effective wetting agent for consistent foam formation or "blanketing" that minimizes misting & fuming concerns.
Bonderite® S-AD 55 can be used effectively for a range of ferrous, low & high carbon steels & alloys.

(0.5 to 1.0 lb. S-AD 55 per gallon of 66° Bé sulfuric acid)
High Carbon & Alloy Steels
(1.0 to 2.5 lb. S-AD 55 per gallon of 66° Bé sulfuric acid)
Stainless Steel
(3.0 to 4.0 lb. S-AD 55 per gallon of 66° Bé sulfuric acid)
