Overview
Diakon® CLG356 is a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) compound that offers excellent processability with a high melt flow index and durability via high tensile and flexural strength. Being PMMA, Diakon® CLG356 is made from high-quality polymers that facilitate high light transmission and superb optical clarity. Compared to other Diakon® grades, CLG356 is much easier to facilitate injection molding processes due to its high melt flow index and may be used to create parts with thick and thin sections. It is ideal for injection molding and extrusion and imparts high resistance to yellowing and discoloration due to weathering. Diakon® CLG356 is ideally used in medical devices, optical lenses, and cosmetic packaging parts.
