Diakon® CMG302 is a general-purpose PMMA compound that provides balanced properties for injection molding and extrusion to create high-quality parts.
Diakon® CMG302 is a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) product with intermediate performance properties within the Diakon® product line. It is, therefore, used as a general-purpose grade characterized by an intermediate melt flow index and a high degree of mechanical strength. Like other Diakon® grades, CMG302 offers high light transmission for excellent optical properties useful in creating injection molded or extruded parts such as optical lenses and medical device parts. Diakon® CMG302 also has very low haze. Though CMG302 provides balanced properties, part manufacturers looking for higher impact strength for PMMA may have better success with one of the Diakon® impact-modified compounds, such as Diakon® CTG825 or Diakon® CTG830.
