Diakon® CTG625 is a toughened PMMA compound containing an impact modifier. It imparts good impact strength for injection molded and extruded parts.
Diakon® CTG625 is a toughened polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) compound containing an impact modifier, making it ideal for creating parts that are highly durable and impact resistant. Like other Diakon® grades, Diakon® CTG625 features high light transmissibility, water-white color, and excellent optical clarity that is useful for making parts meant for transmitting light. It is compatible with injection molding and extrusion techniques. Although it contains an impact modifier, the base polymer that Diakon® CTG625 contains maintains a relatively high melt flow index. Therefore, Diakon® CTG625 can be used to create highly impact-resistant parts in molds that are challenging to fill with low-viscosity melts.
