SilForce™ UV9300 is an epoxide-functional polydimethylsiloxane polymer component used with either SilForce™ UV9380C or UV9390C to create a solventless photocurable release coating system. These photocurable release coatings are ideal for temperature-sensitive substrates and converters looking to work with lower-VOC systems.

Release coating systems with SilForce™ UV9300 can be applied to film or paper substrates using standard solvent-free silicone coating techniques. SilForce™ UV9300 is based on linear PMDS, which provides easy, stable release from many acrylic and rubber pressure-sensitive adhesives. This polymer also contains an abundance of epoxy groups to ensure rapid photocure response. SilForce™ UV9300 systems can be cured in the presence of oxygen and do not need an inert cure chamber. This release coating system features a nonhazardous coating bath with a long and stable pot life in the dark while at room temperature.
