POLYOX™ WSR 301 is a polyethylene oxide with a viscosity of 1650 - 5500 cP. It is widely used as binder, lubricant, thickener and water retention aid. They form flexible, and tough film which are resistant to oils and greases. The viscoelastic properties enable reduction of spattering and misting. Due to its thermoplasticity PEOs can be extruded, injection molded or casted. Most common applications are ceramics, industrial cleaning products, electronics, mining, paper and adhesives.
