Polymethylsiloxane Copolymer
SilForce™ UV9315 is an epoxy functional polydimethylsiloxane polymer. It is used in combination with SilForce™ UV9380C or UV9390C as a photocurable release coating system for temperature sensitive substrates. Release coatings based on SilForce™ UV9315 provide stable, predictable release from acrylic and rubber based pressure sensitive adhesives. SilForce™ UV9315 is most effective when applied to glossy plastic liner materials like polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, and polystyrene. it can be applied through conventional solventless laminating techniques and does not require an inert chamber to cure. The SilForce™ UV9315 polymer is designed to provide high cross-link density in order to minimize transfer of the release coating to the pressure sensitive adhesive. SilForce™ UV9315 can also be blended with SilForce™ UV9430 tight release polymer to provide a predictable differential release.
