Overview
The SI Group FB-250 BX50 liquid phenolic resin polymer can be applied in general industrial coating applications as a maintenance primer for aircraft, automobiles, machinery, and steel structures. FB-250 BX50 can be combined with polyvinyl butyral for one- and two-pack wash primers. This liquid phenolic anti-corrosion primer supports applications such as tanks, pipes, machine housings, machinery, bridges, ships, and metal constructions.
In liquid phenolic coating applications, FB-250 BX50 provides anti-corrosion, heat resistance, and chemical resistance as a primary wash primer for metal surfaces. Pigments can be dispersed in FB-250 BX50 phenolic resin using xylene/n-butanol and isopropanol as solvents in the mill base.
