SFC-138B phenolic resin can cross-link with epoxy resins and is designed for varnishes with gold color. SFC-138B offers high flexibility, stability, and chemical resistance for internal coating applications such as food cans, tanks, and drums.
For optimum properties, cross-link SFC-138B with epoxy resin systems (SFC-138B/epoxy resin ratio from 20/80 to 40/60, solids on solids). SFC-138B phenolic resin can also be used for BPA-NI can coating systems as a crosslinker for polyester resins up to 20%, improving the chemical resistance. As a phenol-formaldehyde additive offers compatibility, chemical resistance, ease of application, thermal resistance, and repeat sterilization strength.
