HiTEC® 5788 polymethacrylate-based pour point depressant (PPD) additive is intended for formulating various lubricants for cold temperature environments.
HiTEC® 5788 polymethacrylate-based (PMA-based) pour point depressant additive is designed for use in formulating a range of automotive lubricants. The additive lowers the pour point and delivers viscosity index improvement. This improves cold-temperature performance and permits blending in cheaper base oils that have not undergone severe dewaxing, making it a cost-effective additive for off-road, manual transmission, and axle oils. Additionally, it imparts excellent thickening efficiency and is compatible with a range of Group II and Group III base oils.
