Overview
HiTEC® 5738 premium additive is a viscosity index improver (VII) based on a dispersant polymethacrylate chemistry. Because of its high shear stability that ensures consistent performance at high and low operating temperatures, it is ideally suited for formulating automatic, manual, and continuously variable transmission fluids. Its application versatility allows for operational and blending efficiencies, reduced inventories, and less waste. HiTEC® 5738 additive has wide base oil compatibility, including solvent-neutral oils and hydrocracked base stocks.

Problems Solved
