Overview
HiTEC® 88880 additive package is engineered by Afton Chemical for off-road lubricants that require a high degree of static friction. The multifunctional additive can be used with a wide array of machinery throughout the drivetrain and hydraulic systems. HiTEC® 88880 additive delivers outstanding frictional performance for smooth, precise driving, exceptional wear protection and load-carrying properties for improved machine life and performance, and excellent yellow metal protection for extended component life. These attributes help ensure that off-road machinery runs longer, even in harsh environments.
Lubricants properly formulated with HiTEC® 88880 additive in a suitable base oil can meet the following performance specifications:
- API GL-4
- Allison C-4 and TES-439
- Caterpillar TO-2, TO-4, and TO-4M
- DANA-OHTM-TO
- Komatsu KES 07.868.1
- Sperry Vickers/Eaton M2950S and I-286-S
