Overview
EPOLENE® E-43 is a medium molecular weight, maleic anhydride modified polypropylene polymer that is useful in adhesives, coatings, and as a compatibilizer for polypropylene (PP) composites. The maleic anhydride functionality and polarity of E-43 allow for increased compatibility of PP composites with fillers and pigments; for this reason E-43 is commonly used in the production of custom master batch. E-43 also provides improved adhesion to metals and plastics when used in hot melt adhesive applications.
