EPOLENE® N-34 is a low–molecular weight polyethylene wax used as a pigment-dispersing aid in plastic color concentrates and as a modifier for natural and synthetic waxes to improve properties in coatings and inks.
EPOLENE® N-34 is a low–molecular weight polyethylene polymer with a low coefficient of friction and good wetting properties used in a variety of coating, ink, and color masterbatch applications. EPOLENE® N-34 is typically used in coating and ink applications as a modifier for natural and synthetic wax to improve physical properties. In printing ink and paper coating applications, the EPOLENE® N-34 polymer improves scuff resistance and gloss. This polymer can also be used in hot-melt adhesives to adjust viscosity, reduce sag, and improve adhesion to fibrous substrates. It is also useful as a pigment-dispersing aid in color masterbatches for plastics applications, where it reduces die and filter pressure during extrusion processes.
