Primary Chemistry:
Halocarbon® 95 is a medium-viscosity polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) lubricating oil (CAS No. 9002-83-9) available as a water-white liquid.
Halocarbon® 95 Oil is a high-quality chlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) polymer formulated by Halocarbon to deliver exceptional performance and stability in extremely low-temperature environments. It is produced using a controlled polymerization process to remove hydrogen or oxygen at the atomic level, yielding a state-of-the-art, fully saturated, low-molecular-weight polymer that is chemically inert, nonflammable, and nonhazardous. This lubricating oil can be widely used in reactive gas service applications and as a general-purpose lubricant for bearings, gearboxes, compressors, and pumps. It offers a range of valuable performance characteristics, including nonreactivity, excellent lubrication, high thermal stability, and good heat-transfer properties.
