HaloVac® 190
HaloVac® 190 is a high-quality polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) vacuum pump fluid, specifically engineered by Halocarbon for heavy-duty vacuum operations where optimal safety, reliability, and performance are crucial. It has a viscosity of 969 cSt at 20°C and a very low vapor pressure of 0.0001 mmHg.
HaloVac® 190 is a high-viscosity fluorinated lubricating oil manufactured with a polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE, CAS No. 9002-83-9) base to maximize the operational life and efficiency of mechanical pumps in high-performance vacuum and cryogenic applications. As a nontoxic, nonreactive, nonflammable, and chemically inert fluid, it can be used in hazardous processes and operations involving a wide range of hazardous materials, such as strong acids or bases, flammable solvents, corrosive chemicals, hydrocarbons, strong oxidizers, and reactive gases. HaloVac® 190 also offers wide material compatibility with elastomers, plastics, metals, and more. HaloVac® 190 offers a wide variety of other valuable performance properties, including excellent lubricity, high thermal stability, low vapor pressure, and low surface tension. All Halocarbon® fluids are also available with anticorrosion additives upon request at no extra charge.
