MSLV56
MSLV56 is a specialty fluorinated barrier fluid formulated with high viscosity and excellent lubricating properties. Its chemically inert, nonflammable formulation helps to extend seal life, reduce leakages, and improve reliability in demanding operating conditions.
Appearance: Liquid Color: Water white pH: Neutral CAS No 9002-83-9
Primary Chemistry:
MSLV27 is a high-viscosity fluorinated barrier fluid engineered for higher-temperature, higher-face-velocity applications.
MSLV56 is a high-viscosity mechanical seal barrier fluid manufactured by Halocarbon from polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) technology (CAS No. 9002-83-9). It is suitable for use in high-temperature processes, helping to minimize the potential for environmental or process-side leakage. Designed for rotary mixers, agitators, centrifugal pumps, and other multi-seal systems, it provides superior lubrication and cooling to mechanical seal faces. Due to its nontoxic, nonreactive, nonflammable, and chemically inert nature, it can be used in hazardous chemical processes and operations involving strong acids or bases, flammable solvents, corrosive chemicals, hydrocarbons, strong oxidizers, and reactive gases. All Halocarbon® barrier fluids are also available with anticorrosion additives upon request at no extra charge.
