Elvacite™ 4072 is a medium molecular weight, methacrylate resin with remarkable compatibility and solubility. It produces films that are flexible enough to be applied to packaging films and also tough enough to be used as a protective top coat. Elvacite™4072 has been engineered to provide improved adhesion to metal surfaces. This combined with exceptional clarity and gloss make it an ideal resin for abrasion resistant metal topcoats. Elvacite™ 4072 is available as a free-flowing, solid bead that is soluble in alcohols, ketones, aromatics, esters, and glycol ethers.
