Elvacite™ 2010 is a solid bead acrylic resin based on poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA). It is commonly used as a general purpose grade for lacquers. Coatings formulated using Elvacite™2010 have outstanding hardness and tensile strength. In addition, this resin produces films with exceptional clarity, UV resistance, and chemical resistance. These properties make it an ideal resin for barrier coatings for rigid substrates like vinyl, metal, and wood.
