Elvacite™ 4170
Elvacite™ 4170 is a low molecular weight methyl methacrylate resin that is designed to be used in low viscosity, high solids plastic coatings.
Elvacite™ 4170 is a solid bead acrylic resin based on poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA). It has a low molecular weight and can be used at high solids content while maintaining a low viscosity. The low viscosity of Elvacite™ 4170 solutions is ideal for wetting out plastic substrates. Elvacite™ 4170 produces clear, hard, chemically resistant films that perform well as a protective coating for plastics.
