Citroflex™ C-4
Citroflex™ C-4 citric acid esters are non-phthalate plasticizers with lower molecular weight and are compatible with various types of polymer systems.
Aurorium Citroflex™ C-4 plasticizer provides improved light stability when used in cellulose acetate applications. It is also an excellent defoaming agent in protein solutions. Aurorium Citroflex™ C-4 does not support fungal growth. The lower molecular weight citric acid esters (Citroflex™ C-2, A-2, C-4, and A-4) have plasticization characteristics like those of the lower molecular weight phthalates, adipates, and sebacates in a variety of polymers.
