CELOGEN® AZ2500 azodicarbonamide chemical foaming agent is used to produce many types of polymeric and elastomeric closed-cell foams. It is similar to CELOGEN® AZ1901 but with a larger particle size. CELOGEN® AZ2500 can be catalyzed by a variety of chemicals: strong activators, such as zinc oxide, zinc stearate, and ACTICELL® U; moderate activators, such as barium stearate, calcium stearate, citric acid, and triethanolamine; and weak activators, such as adipic acid, benzoic acid, salicylic acid, and calcium oxide.
