CelChem CELOGEN® OT is a chemical foaming agent treated with oil to reduce dusting and produce a fine, uniform, closed-cell structure. It has a relatively low decomposition temperature and small particle size. CELOGEN® OT provides nondiscoloring, nonstaining, and nontoxic benefits as a foaming agent while effectively working as an activator for rubber and expanded plastics.
CELOGEN® OT can be catalyzed by a variety of chemicals. Very strong activators include ACTICELL® U, triethanolamine, and peroxides. Calcium oxide, calcium stearate, stearic acid, cadmium, and lead-type vinyl stabilizers are all moderate activators. Adipic acid, benzoic acid, salicylic acid, citric acid, lead stearate, and zinc stearate are weak activators
