MOLYKOTE^® G-4500FMS is a specialty multi-purpose synthetic grease comprised of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oil, an aluminum complex thickener, and performance additives, including PTFE. As a food-safe lubricant, MOLYKOTE^® G-4500FMS meets NSF H1 requirements and the FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental food contact applications. MOLYKOTE^® G-4500FM multi-purpose synthetic grease is engineered to deliver dependable performance in demanding environments. It is commonly used in food processing equipment, packaging lines, conveyors, and bearings where cleanliness and reliability are critical. The formulation helps reduce friction, minimize start-up torque, and resist washout in wet or steam-prone areas.

Designed as a robust, long-life solution, MOLYKOTE^® G-4500FMS provides high load capacity, good wear resistance, and a longer service life than many traditional lubricants. Its thermal stability is excellent, with an operating range from −40°C to 149°C (−40°F to 300°F). In addition, it offers strong oxidation resistance and corrosion protection, helping extend maintenance intervals and reduce unplanned downtime.
