Overview
MOLYKOTE® PG-54 Grease is a high-performance, silicone-oil-based lubricant engineered for plastic-on-plastic, plastic-on-metal, and rubber-on-metal surface interface combinations. MOLYKOTE® PG-54 Plastislip Grease is engineered with several performance additives, including solid lubricant additives and a lithium-based thickener that results in a high-performance semifluid solution.
MOLYKOTE® PG-54 was developed for extended lubrication for a variety of substrates, including metal to plastic, plastic to plastic, and metal to rubber applications. This synthetic MOLYKOTE® grease exhibits superior performance in high-pressure and corrosive environments. MOLYKOTE® PG-54 works well in a broad temperature range, exhibiting stability at temperatures up to 356°F (180°C)

Applications
MOLYKOTE® PG-54 is especially well suited for the low-friction operation of most rubber or plastic parts. It works well as an open gear grease and valve grease and is used in many other applications where sliding contact occurs. This MOLYKOTE® grease also performs under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions.
