Overview
MOLYKOTE® G-4501 FM provides the same performance as the MOLYKOTE® G-4500 FM but is NLGI Grade 1 for a lighter grease consistency.
MOLYKOTE® G-4501 FM is a multipurpose, food-grade, specialty synthetic grease lubricant comprised of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oil, an aluminum complex thickener, and various performance additives, including solid-lubricant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). MOLYKOTE® G-4501 FM provides food-safe lubrication for a variety of processes; it is NSF H1 approved and meets FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental contact applications.
MOLYKOTE® G-4501 FM is a multipurpose synthetic grease solution for lubricant applications requiring high-load capacity, heavy-duty wear resistance, and longer service life than traditional multipurpose lubricants. MOLYKOTE® G-4501 FM provides robust thermal stability and can withstand temperatures between −40°C and 149°C (−40°F and 300°F).
