BONDERITE® M-ZN 952 (also known as BONDERITE® 952) is a clear green liquid metal pre-treatment formulated for use on steel, electro-galvanized steel, galvanized steel, zinc-alloy coated steel, and aluminum, especially in applications within the automotive industry. This metal-treating fluid can be applied using immersion or spray processing to individual metals or in mixed metal productions, converting the metal surface to a nonmetallic, polycrystalline coating containing nickel, manganese, iron, and zinc phosphates. The resulting film is clean and grease-free and provides paint coatings with a chemically inert surface to prevent the reaction between materials and subsequent corrosion. It also helps to enhance the adhesion and durability of paint finishes, extending the life of paints.
