Trilene FreeFlow® 67
Trilene FreeFlow® 67 is a dry, free-flowing powder form of ethylene propylene terpolymer (EPDM) with 7.7 % diene content.
Lion Elastomers Trilene FreeFlow® 67 is a blend of 68% EPDM and 32% silica in powder form. It is used as an additive in rubber compounds to reduce viscosity. Trilene FreeFlow® 67 acts as a reactive plasticizer in rubber compounds without any significant loss of hardness or other mechanical properties. The low molecular weight of Trilene FreeFlow® 67 offers significant processing advantages in compounds with a high loading of fillers.
Lion Elastomers Trilene FreeFlow® 67 is supplied in powder form, allowing for easier handling and reduced scrap. Trilene FreeFlow® 67, as well as Trilene® 77, improves peroxide-cured compound formulations with more efficient processing than formulations using unplasticized controls. Lion Elastomers Trilene FreeFlow® 67 reactive process improvement additive is nonmigrating and nonextractable for sulfur- or peroxide-cured applications.
