FB-110 XB50 is a heat-reactive phenolic liquid resin used in combination with epoxy resins for interior can coatings. This grade utilizes the combination of phenol and formaldehyde technology for interior metal coating applications with excellent benefits such as chemical resistance and high-temperature stability. Phenolic coating applications employing FB-110 XB50 allow for superior adhesion to either steel-based or aluminum-based substrates. 

FB-110 XB50 phenolic resin is generally used for protective coatings in multiple industrial applications (such as tanks, machinery, metal parts,  and electrical wires). Compatible with higher-weight epoxy resins of type 4, 7, or 9, FB-110 XB 50 phenolic resin is used when good reactivity is needed in heat-cured phenolic/epoxy and phenolic/polyester systems.
