3M Novec™ 1700 electronic grade coating is a single component fluorinated polymer diluted in Novec™ 7100DL (hydrofluorether solvent). Novec™ 1700 is an easy application low viscosity and low surface tension solution for electronic coating applications. Novec™ 1700 dries to an ultra-thin transparent film that does not require additional curing.
Novec™ 1700 does not contain any volatile organic compounds (VOC) and exhibits low global warming potential (GWP).

Novec™ 1700 electronic grade coating has been engineered for a variety of applications within electronics manufacturing and assembly.
Novec™ 1700 provides moisture, chemical, and corrosion protection for circuit boards and components. Novec™ 1700 may also be used as an anti-migration and anti-corrosion conformal coating for spindle motors or lubricated electronic parts.
