Novec™ 71DA is intended to replace ozone-depleting substances (ODSs) and compounds with high global warming potential (GWP). Is a hydrofluoroether, Methyl Nonafluorobutyl Ether, in an azeotrope formulation with trans-1,2-dichloroethylene and ethanol.
