3M Fluorinert™ FC-43 is a thermally and chemically stable thermal fluid that is compatible with sensitive materials and is nonflammable. 3M Fluorinert™ FC-43 is practically nontoxic and leaves essentially no residue upon evaporation. This unique combination of properties makes this product ideal for many electronics applications, including many electronic quality and reliability tests. Novec™ FC-43 exhibits a boiling point of 174 °C, commonly used as for burn-in testing, environmental stress screening and vapor phase soldering. Conforms to Mil Spec 883.
