Problems Solved
Poor-performing manual transmission oils can cause gear pitting and surface damage on other transmission parts. The transmission oil will also start to degrade, leaving sludge and varnish on components. This deposit buildup can result in additional wear, frequent oil changes, poor shifting performance, or costly repairs. In cold environments, transmission oil can gel or freeze without proper cold flow improvers in the formulation, which can lead to component damage or transmission failure.
