HiTEC® 3080 performance additive is a dynamic solution for formulating service fill multi-vehicle manual transmission fluids for European and Asian vehicles outside of warranty. When blended in a suitable base oil at recommended treat rates, the additive can provide enhanced protection and extended transmission performance.
HiTEC® 3080 additive exhibits superior bearing and gear protection while providing incredible cleanliness to keep components operating at optimal condition. It also demonstrates exceptional low-temperature properties to maintain shifting performance in cold climates.

Problems Solved
Poor-performing manual transmission oils can cause gear pitting and surface damage on other transmission parts. The transmission oil will also start to degrade, leaving sludge and varnish on components. This deposit buildup can result in additional wear, frequent oil changes, poor shifting performance, or costly repairs. In cold environments, transmission oil can gel or freeze without proper cold flow improvers in the formulation, which can lead to component damage or transmission failure.
